Originally illustrated for Samhain Series 2025 - Miltonduff Distillery Speyside Single Malt Scotch 11 Year Old, Ex-Peated Islay Wine Barrique, limited to 239 bottles.
The Wizard of Gordonstoun, Sir Robert Gordon, made a pact with the devil, who bestowed him with unearthly powers. Once the time came for the Devil to collect the wizard's soul, Sir Robert mounted his horse to escape the unholy pact's consequences.
Too soon, he heard the thundering hooves of the Devil’s black stallion and the howling of the dreaded hellhounds.
Lightning crashed all around, and rain stung his face. As “luck” would have it, Sir Robert crashed and landed just within the grounds of the Kirk, so the Devil was unable to claim his prize.
